"Oh, yes! Oh, yes, please come, come on, please!"

Duration: 25:11 minutes

Scenario:

Victoria struggles to start the old station wagon. Even this beautiful sound of the starter motor is so wonderfully plaintive.

After several attempts, the engine seems like it might catch. The engine jerks gently every now and then as Victoria tries to start it.

"Oh, please, come on. Please start for me, baby," she thinks, and keeps trying to get the engine going. And indeed, she manages to get the old station wagon to rev. Obviously to warm up the engine, but it doesn’t last long. The engine sputters slower and quieter. Very gently, the engine stalls.

Victoria starts it again, talking to the station wagon, asking it to start. With a lot of effort, she manages it again and again, but then comes that cute, ever-slowing ticking of the engine before it stalls again. Every time, Victoria tries to avoid stalling by pumping the gas pedal accordingly. In vain!

You can see a view of the engine as backfires shoot out. The carburetor seems to want to blast free. And then even two flames shoot out!

But at some point, the engine seems to have flooded, or during the short revving sessions, it sucked dirt into the carburetor.

At the end of the clip, you can enjoy a two-and-a-half-minute warm-up revving (pedal view). A clip that was made about twenty years ago.

Victoria in real cranking mood. In the preview, all views can be seen briefly again. About 50% of the clip shows pedal views.

But Victoria has nice legs! And her right foot is in a pretty suede mule.
